River access, green space, marinas, parks and canals all make the lower eastside community of Creekside/Jefferson-Chalmers one of Detroit’s best-kept secrets. After a meandering tour of its picturesque streets and riverside parks, the group will stop into a couple of neighborhood businesses on E. Jefferson. There will be time to grab a coffee or a beer, so bring a few bucks.
